G.A.P. – Great, Awesome, People is a ministry designed to reach out to senior citizens in our local York &Lancaster County areas. We minister 9 months out of the year to seven Assisted Living Facilities. At each event, residents enjoy food, play bingo w/ great prizes, receive goodie bags and team members pray with residents. Three times during the year everyone comes together at The Shield in (July, November and December) to fellowship with laughter, food, entertainment, games and gifts.

It’s about more than just making connections; it’s about building genuine relationships where ideas are shared, support is given, and collaboration flourishes, all rooted in a shared commitment to living out one’s faith authentically. In this ministry, success isn’t measured solely in profits or accolades but in the positive impact made on individuals and communities, reflecting the light of Christ in a world hungry for genuine examples of faith in action.
Missions Focus –The church’s mandate is to reach people for Jesus and to grow the Kingdom of God. Each month a specific ministry is chosen to support. Palmetto Pregnancy of Rock Hill, Worthy Boys & Girls Camp, Pathway’s of Rock Hill, The Gideon’s, Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse), Patrick Brown – missionary to Nicaragua and Samaritan’s International. Various other opportunities also come our way such as Steppin’ High, Disaster Relief funds, and more.
