Y’all, I’ve read this scripture many times…
“Do everything in love.” 1 Cor 16:14
but tonight when I read it…I read it as do everything in love. Like, from a place of being in love. And, it makes sense because we were not created to just exist to do things but we were created for love.
And, if you’ve ever been in love, you know how unreservedly happy you are and how you can’t hide the joy on your face and everything you do is exciting because you’re so energized by love! And, no matter how difficult things get or how much haters gone hate, nothing can get you down because you’ve got love. Well, that’s it! That’s God. He is Love. He’s happy and He’s energized and motivated by Love…for us. And He wants a love relationship with us.
Seriously, what if we really lived life from a place of being in love? Dude, I think that’s how it’s supposed to be. May we not let our human understanding, thoughts and opinions or fears hold us back or trip us up. But may we just fall madly in love with the One who is mad about us. Amen.
