Your mistake did not cancel your sonship or your inheritance. He loves His kids no matter what. He’s still just as merciful to His children as He is to sinners. He’s calling to you. It’s a call to relationship. It’s a call to draw near. He celebrates when you come back. When you think you deserve to be punished or live like a slave, He gives you kiss and a ring and robe. He’s a good, good Father. He delights in showing mercy. His love never gives up on us and He is never ashamed to call us His own. If there’s breath in your lungs, there’s hope. Turn to Him and let Him love on you, let Him clothe you. He’s not religious, He’s relational. His presence reawakens our dreams, gifting’s and callings. It’s always been about nearness. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. He will awaken you and restore you. He’s still saying, “I love you. Come to Me. I’m all you need.”
